GREG VAN BERKEL ...
Greg Van Berkel was raised in Kerwood, Ontario. He obtained his B.Soc.Sc. with a concentration in Criminology at the University of Ottawa. He then returned to Southwestern Ontario and graduated with a law degree from the University of Western Ontario.
After articling at a large London law firm, Greg was called to the Ontario Bar in 1998. He joined ShillingtonsLLP in 2001 and has since become a partner in the firm.
Greg has practiced in civil and criminal litigation, gaining significant experience before administrative tribunals and the courts. He has advocated before all levels of court in Ontario. He has also participated in numerous alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
A member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association and the Middlesex Law Association, Greg has also spoken on personal injury, insurance and practice related topics. Greg enjoys various sports and has a passion for motorcycles passed down to him from his grandparents.
