MAURA THOMPSON ...
Maura Thompson obtained her B.A. (Hons) from Queen’s University followed by her law degree from the University of Windsor and a call to the bar in 1997. Maura is a partner in the firm.
Maura has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario and has significant experience in SABS arbitrations and mediations. She has a particular interest in priority disputes between insurers. She is a frequent speaker at various industry events.
Maura is an active member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association, the London Claims Association and The Advocates Society. She was a longstanding Trustee of the Middlesex Law Association and past president of the Women’s Law Association of Ontario – London Chapter as well as a former board member for Big Sisters of London and Participation House. Maura volunteers her time for the Child Advocacy Project, providing pro-bono legal assistance to children and their families on education-related matters.
